Best radio I have ever owned. The booklet isn't the best about this. Good sound quality and easy to use. I have had a little trouble understanding how to set the alarm systems. But, I still like the radio. I would also be nice if it had the weather band.
out of the box - a couple of rechargable batteries plug it in and zap your up and running bought for AM talk shows works great. music etc. great also.
Looked cool. But the reason I purchased it was for an AM radio at my office. However, the AM radio was terrible at work, at home, everywhere.
Have not tried it with batteries yet because we have space near an outlet in both rooms. Needed a small radio with good reception for the bathroom and kitchen. This radio has very good reception without static interference. It is a pleasure to listen to without all the static and the tuning is great. The clock time is a little difficult to read from a distance, could be larger and brighter.
At last an excellent portable radio. Some static I guess is not unavoidable, but better than others we have tried. My wife's product and she uses it everyday.
